This Week's Goal


This week’s goal is to drink more water. There are so many reasons why we should drink more water. Water hydrates you and can help you lose weight since it fills you up. It will help your digestion and flush out toxins. Your skin texture will improve and you will feel more alert.

Some of our team members in the office have struggled with this goal in the past, but there are some tricks you can use to make it easier.  Drink a glass of water before each meal, one with each meal and snack, and a glass of water in the evening, then you’ve had about 7-9 glasses which is great. And think of all the exercise you’ll get running to the bathroom all day long! Don’t forget to drink water out of a glass or a reusable bottle.

Meditation

 
Stellibell is so much more than just saving time cooking and eating healthy. It’s also about quality of life overall and enjoying each moment. Today when you’re cooking try to forget the noise and stress around you. Stay in the moment and focus on just what you are doing that second. Focus on cutting up the veggies, listen to the chicken as it’s frying in the pan and smell the different flavors as they spread in your kitchen. Cooking is a form of mediation that is good for body, mind and soul.

Snack Time


As a Stellibell member you already have healthy dinners and lunches for the week, but what about snacks? Here are some great ideas. These will give you the perfect mix of carbs and protein to make sure you last until the next meal. Make sure you eat something every 3 hours to keep your blood sugar level even and calorie burning to the max. 

  • An apple and a table spoon of all natural peanut butter
  • A cup of baby carrots and 3 tbsp of hummus
  • A cup of Greek yogurt and a handful of almonds
  • ½ cup of cottage cheese and sliced peppers
  • A cup of edamame

Fish Tacos


Fish Tacos

Ingredients
  • 48 ounces Tilapia
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½  tsp garlic powder
  • Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas
Coleslaw Salad
  • 12 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 4 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 bag of coleslaw mix
Mango Salsa
  • 1 mango
  • ½  red bell pepper
  • 1 ½  tsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp yellow onion
  • ½  Jalapeno Chile pepper (optional)
  • ¼  tsp lime peel
  • 1 ½  tsp vinegar
  • ¼  tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
Directions
  1. Turn on the oven at 450 degrees.
  2. Rinse the fish and pat dry with paper towels. Cut fish crosswise into 3/4-inch slices.
  3. Place fish in a single layer in a greased shallow baking pan.
  4. Combine olive oil, cumin, and garlic powder. Brush over fish.
  5. Bake the fish in the oven for 4 to 6 minutes or until fish begins to flake when tested with a fork.
Coleslaw salad
  1. While the fish is cooking, in a medium bowl stir together Greek yogurt and lime juice.
  2. Add cabbage and toss to coat.
Mango Salsa
  1. Peel the mango and cut into cubes.
  2. Clean the bell pepper and cut into cubes.
  3. Put the mango and bell pepper into a bowl.
  4. Chop the yellow onion and add 2 tbsp into the bowl.
  5. Grate ¼ tsp of the lime peel and add in into the bowl.
  6. Measure and add all the spices.
  7. Mix everything well.
  1. Spoon some of the coleslaw mixture into each tortilla, add fish and top with mango salsa.

Weekly Goal



The team here at Stellibell is close knit group who are passionate about and always thinking about how we can become better people and make the world a better place. One thing we’ve done for some time now and that works well is that we come up with a new rule every week that we have to follow. The purpose of the rule is to create a new habit that will make us better people and that way also make the world a better place.
By adding new things slowly we have managed to change our behavior to the better (ok, some haven’t stuck as easily as we would hope….and we’ve had them as goals for several weeks…but it’s about the journey not the goal, right?) Moving forward we will share our weekly goal with you here and you can join us or try your own goals.
This week’s goal is to only think positive thoughts about ourselves.  Easier said than done. We can be pretty critical and too often think – ah, I’m such an idiot! This does more damage than you think. By being mean to ourselves we are allowing others to do the same. Not cool. So starting today, no more!
