We know, it’s tempting to buy the
pretty bottles with air freshener at the store that has every scent you can
imagine, but why when you can skip the chemicals and not only enjoy the heavenly smell of lemons
but also spend a fraction of the cost and save the planet. There are many ways
to spread the fresh scent of lemons in your house:
- Cut them in half and place them around the house.
- Stick half a lemon in the fridge to keep food smells at bay
- Rub lemon juice on your hands after cutting up more smelly food like fish or garlic. The lemon juice will neutralize the smell on your hands.
- If your kitchen has a garbage disposal, toss some lemon peel down the disposal and turn it on. Your whole kitchen will smell lemony fresh!
